OOTD: Comfy and Church

Sooo, once again I walked outside to find it raining, once again I didn't have an umbrella. However, this time I found a shorter way to walk back, and it wasn't raining as hard. So I was able to capture my outfit for you in my room, albeit I'm a bit damp

forlove21 necklace
h&m sweater
hanes tshirt
jcrew pants

Here is another of my new purchases from Friday. I had been thinking for a while that I needed an open, flowy cardigan like this one, and when I found h&m had a super-comfy version in this nice oatmeal-ish color, I felt I needed to buy it (yes: needed. ^^)

Oh and by the way hope you all enjoy my laundry on the fringes of this photo :) I hadn't done any for a looong time, so I had to make myself do it. It was a difficult undertaking. Although I would like to say that I have not ruined a single piece of clothing yet! A pretty admirable accomplishment if I do say so myself...

I decided to switch up my picture-taking poses, and put my camera on my desk chair so that you all could see me sitting cross-legged on the ground. Fun, huh? :)

For the majority of this day, I was wearing this outfit, but minus the necklace, and instead of the nice cropped black pants, I was wearing gray sweatpants (and by the way, victoria's secret pink makes the best sweatpants. just saying). Typical college outfit on a Sunday. I've been doing homework, and I changed to look more presentable for Sunday night church. I'm in the gospel choir! I don't know if I've told you all that - it's been fun! It's kind of crazy and out of my comfort zone, but a fun experience nonetheless. And I've got to be honest, I missed singing.

Sooo, I haven't finished my homework yet, I've got to wrap up my story-telling. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, get some sleep, Monday is coming...

  2. I love that sweater! Looks so warm and comfy:) Your college dorm looks really nice--that's awesome that you ended up getting a handicapped one. I'm following your blog now, I think it's a great idea to blog fashion in college!

  4. Just read your last post about going to the monuments at night. So insanely jealous again!! I was just there 2 weeks ago on a school trip and we went to see them at night but our teacher got us lost and we spent most of the night wandering around looking for the Foggy Bottom metro station. Wish I could be back there!!!
